Configure without Serial console?

Is there by any chance default network settings for the firmware provided on http://mightyohm.com/blog/2008/11/build ... g-openwrt/ ?

It seems like one could bypass the need for the serial cable if it was setup by default for DHCP over a ethernet lan connection, then wifi configuration could just be done over ssh.

There are default settings. You can telnet to the LAN ports at 192.168.1.1 by default.
