edge meter for mighty ohm geiger counter

I know it's a bit old school but I'd like to connect an edge meter to the mighty ohm geiger counter. Where would I easily connect it to the geiger kit?
Where did you find that meter? Do you have any specs on it?
I think that this will be more than a simple hack, do you have an AVR programmer?
