not broadcom chipset

is it possible that asus wl-520gu that i bought is not using broadcom chipset? i was trying to change the /etc/comfig/wireless and instead of broadcom i got mac80211
i tried to find any reference but no result.

Nope, it should use the broadcom driver. OpenWrt tries to detect the wireless card when it boots for the first time. Maybe something went wrong during that process (Did you wait 5 minutes after flashing before rebooting?). What happens if you try reinstalling?

i didn't wait for 5 minutes.. i'll try that... but i tried many times to reinstall it and the result is the same.. uhm.. well yeah i'm going to try reinsall it..
