Arduino compatible?

Post by x-warrior »

Is Arduino Uno Compatible with: http://mightyohm.com/blog/2008/09/ardui ... programmer ?

If yes, do it need any modification on the program? Or just create the board and use it?

Thanks

Hi,

The latest hardware and Arduino sketch have been tested on the Arduino Uno.

if you are referring to the "old" hardware shown here: http://mightyohm.com/blog/2008/09/ardui ... rogrammer/

be advised that it is not supported by software written for the later kit version (http://mightyohm.com/hvrescue21).

It is possible to modify the later software to work with the original hardware, and someone did this recently on the Mega:

If you choose to do this, be advised that you are pretty far into "unsupported" territory and things may not work as expected due to changes and bug fixes in the hardware. I highly recommend purchasing the kit version as it is known to work with the latest software and I can provide support if you have any issues.

Arduino compatible

It would be useful in the project website and wiki if they dont already make it clear to say that Pinguino is Arduino-like or Arduino-influenced rather than compatible which it clearly isnt and couldnt use the PIC features fully if it was.
