Improving the Image Quality of the GardePro A3 Trail Camera

Post by ki3u »

I recently acquired a GardePro A3 Trail Camera, which except for the positioning of
the light sensor and motion-test LED appears to be identical to the Agitato A323.

I was not satisfied with the quality of the images from the GardePro A3 and did
a considerable amount of experimenting to find ways to improve it. I got some
results - I detail the steps here :

Perhaps the most radical step is running the GardePro A3 on one less than its normal complement of
eight AA batteries.

I also did an image quality comparison of the GardePro A3 ( $ 84.08 ) vs what is about the cheapest
trail cam out there - the TASCO 8MP ( $ 28.88 ).
