Re: PID Thermo controller

At day 6 into the test run the controller started to behave erratically and would start doing 5-8 degree C high temperature excursions. I was also using a WH8040 humidity controller that uses relay outputs. When the WH8040 reaches the turn-off point the relays chatter many times before turning off t...

Re: PID Thermo controller

OK, got the PT100 probe and hooked it up, set the SL1 setting to 1000 to let it know. Set the decimal setting to 1. Just one little problem. The setpoint can now only be set to +/- 10 degrees. There is a solution though. The SC setting allows a +/-200 degree offset. I set it to -35.0 + what ever tem...

Re: PID Thermo controller

I found out from the ebay seller that only PT100 and CU50 sensors support more decimal places that 0. It appears to be shipped with a type K thermocouple. Once you set SL1 =1000 or 1001 you get the option to set the decimal places to 0-3, otherwise that option does not appear.

Re: PID Thermo controller

I found the manual
https://www.box.com/s/5uson7bv0nvjzygjefwy
The problem is that the PGdP setting is not there. It skips right over it. There is no degrees F setting on this model.

Re: PID Thermo controller

I have a REX-C100FK02-V*AN PID controller. This place has been very helpful so far seeing as how the manual doesn't have a lot to do with the device. I can't get it to display F, it is stuck in C even though SL2 = 1. I can't find out how to get it to read out in tenths of a degree vs. whole degrees....
