Post by michey »

Hello, at this weblink you can find some results of measurements with the Geiger Counter from Berlin (Germany) and from Heidenau near Dresden (Germany).

It looks like the BCC basement is a nice, safe place to be. :D

I think that to get the best results it is better to take data over longer periods, at least 5-10 minutes. To establish the background level I would recommend 30 minutes to an hour of data collection.

Hello,
there are some new measured values from Kirchberg, Bad Schlema and Dresden in Saxony in Germany.

The higher values of signals are probably related to the natural deposit of uranium in this area.
If I have enough time, i will connect the geiger counter with my computer. So I can take data, for statistic analysis, and than I can calculate the relation between the measurement period and the measurement error.

Interesting results in the Basement at Kirchberg - 50 CPM is quite a bit higher than I have seen in my area. Thanks for sharing this.
