I put one of these together a couple months ago, seems to work fine. Hopefully this is a dumb question but is there any reason not to take it with me on a trip to Europe? Might look a little suspicious in the carry on bag ...
thanks

When I travel, I always pack my geiger counter with my checked luggage. I recommend checking all DIY electronics.

I have heard that others have successfully brought my kit onto the plane in their carry-on luggage, but IMHO it's not worth the risk of being delayed by security or customs in case an agent decides that a DIY electronics kit is a suspicious item.
