Adding shoutCAST .pls

How can I do this? When I put the URL to the .pls in, and play it, nothing happens.

Does your version of MPD support streaming? To find out, execute "mpd --version" on the command line. This will give you a list of supported formats and outputs.

Have you looked at this thread? ilinux wrote a script to parse PLS files:

I figured it out. If you open the PLS file in a text editor, you can see the stream URL inside. Then you just put that into "mpc add".
