Kernel 2.6, Webcams, Mass Storage, etc.

Hello. I thought I'd just point out that I've started on a project (based heavily upon this MightOhm one -- thank you!) where I am trying to make a Asus WL-520gU into a wireless webcam server.
In order to get this done, I've had to compile with kernel 2.6.x, use external mass storage (using a flash drive), installing extensions and apps on the flash drive, etc. Even if I don't succeed in making a WebCam server, I hope that something I post will be helpful to others.
I'm not done yet (as I write this) with the series, and would love it if anyone could comment suggestions (here, or on the blog).
First article.
Second article.
And, the blog in general:

It's a new blog, and so any comments or suggestions are welcome!
