Orange lines

Post by BillMurraysButthole »

Hello,

This is the first ever electronic thing I have tried to construct, so please excuse me if this is a really stupid question. I have put the whole kit together and made sure everything is the right way round, but it's not powering on. The orange lines on the board, are they the circuitry? I have accidentally damaged two of the orange lines so that they no longer reach the 555 timer. Is there a way to repair them? Maybe conductive paint? To be more specific, it's the line that goes from U1 down to R5 and from U1 straight up to C5 and the batteries.

Thanks

Can you post a photo of the damage?

And yes, the more orange parts of the board are the conductors!

You'll have to bridge the gap somehow using a short piece of wire.
