HELP with Geiger Counter

Post by gatewaytospace »

We are attempting to attach the geiger counter to an Arduino Uno. We need this problem to be resolved by Thursday. The geiger counter was working perfectly fine last week but it is now not responding to any radiation. At times, it responds to the touch on the negative end of the geiger muller tube holder, but now does not most of the time. We have adjusted the HV-Adjust all of the way both ways, CW and CCW, could the geiger muller tube have been damaged or the HV adjust. Is it a fixable problem within a week? We need HELP bad! Could it be the code? Interrupts in the code?
We have the positive and ground to 3.3V and grnd in J6 and the data wire in J7.
Thanks in advance.

Sorry for the late reply, I am just seeing this post now.

Did you try following these instructions?

Also, measure and record the voltages on each pin of the 555 timer (U1). The voltages should be similar to the ones given here:
