Adaptable to neutron tubes?

Can the geiger counter kit be adapted to work with neutron counter tubes like Russian tube SNM-12?

A listing on ebay includes the specs:
Operating Voltage - 500 V
Slope of plateau, % per 100 V - ≤ 5
Plateau Length - 200 V

Would this be compatible?

It looks like it might work, but I have not tried connecting a neutron tube to the geiger kit. Try it and let us know how it works!
