I'm not new too electronics but iam new to embedded development.I had just found out about the "bus pirate" and wanted to use if for a couple things.Mostly to hookup to a compatible android phone.(Uart debugging)

My main things to learn are how to save the files on the phone to my pc,and create a rom(Bin) file of the whole nand.I know there is a lot more involved in the process but thats my main goal.I have searched everywhere for tutorials/videos on how to do it but came up with nothing.I have been reading:Embedded linux primer though to get a general idea.Is "rom dumping" a proper term for what i want to do?So,just wondering if anyone can help me out or direct me to some tutorials on how to do this.I apprecitate it.thanks.
