I’m using the alternative “Plus” code version that’s on the web site, as well as your standard sketch. The test point shows +12.4V. Neither sketch allows the 328P’s EFUSE high nybble or bit 3 to be programmed, or allows the Flash to be tested or programmed.

Cannot program EFUSE or test Flash
Partially working HV Rescue Shield 2:
1) Test EEPROM succeeds
2) LFUSE and HFUSE are correctly programmed
3) Cannot program EFUSE
4) Cannot successfully test Flash
What might explain these symptoms?

Excellent project - simple to build. But green Ready LED failed to illuminate when first tried. Red LED lights up, but nothing is written to the part (ATmega328P). Tried both original and "Plus" sketch versions. I'm going to try some other Arduinos and 328Ps and see if that affects matters...
